2009.10.26 -- The fanclub site was updated today with Versailles' revival live. It will take place on January 4th at Shibuya O-EAST and is actually a memorial live for Jasmine You.

Matenrou Opera, Kaya, and Versailles will perform. Tickets go on sale via lottery through the fanclub next week and general sale will begin at the end of November.

2009.10.25 -- At the V-ROCK Fest 09 live, Kamijo announced that their new album would be released in January 2010, and they would resume activity then as well.

2009.08.01 -- Jasmine You to temporarily suspend all musical activities

"This is sudden, but we have an important announcement for everyone.
Due to Jasmine's bad health, he is refraining from all activity, including recording, at the present time.
As for the announcement made a short time ago about SCUBERDIVE ~Shibuya ga taihen~ on August 3rd, the plan was that Versailles would appear that day as the secret band. However, taking Jasmine's bad condition into account, a meeting was held with the members and the staff with the intention to cancel the performance altogether. The result of the conference is that this time, the remaining four members will perform at the event.

Concerning the other planned concerts where Versailles are to appear, it's unclear if Jasmine will participate or not. We deeply apologize to the fans as well as the staff for any inconveniences caused by this. We hope you all understand the situation.

Furthermore, the official site may be updated at any time with additional announcements concerning Jasmine's health. Unfortunately, please understand that Delacroix and the event sponsors cannot accept any inquiries about Jasmine's condition."

-- According to the Versailles OHP, Versailles will be featured on the cover of the Cure released on 12/21 (Feb 09 issue)! All you Versailles fans, be sure to grab a copy!!

-- If you look on the Versailles OHP, you can see Versailles new outfits on the header image, and if you click the banner about the upcoming single, you can see each member's cover for the single! Also, "PRINCE & PRINCESS" is up for preorder in all the CD shops now, so go and secure your copy!!

-- According to Kamijo's blog, Versailles will be releasing a double A-side single called "PRINCE & PRINCESS" on 12/10, and they are planning on releasing a live DVD titled "HISTORY OF THE OTHER SIDE" next year! It will include footage from 2007~2008 and will be able to be pre-ordered at the 12/23 C. C. Lemon Hall oneman.

-- CDJapan has announced that the photobook release date has been pushed back from October 15th to October 22nd. So everyone will have to wait a little longer for it.

-- Versailles first photobook is available for purchase on CDJapan! However, the deadline to order is September 30,2008! There's no news if it'll be available to order overseas elsewhere yet, but if there is, we'll have it up ASAP! Teru said in his blog that he'll post more details about the photobook, so hopefully there will be more info soon.

-- On the Versailles OHP news page, it was announced that Versailles will be releasing their first photobook! It'll be available Japan-wide in bookstores in early October and will contain photos from the Europe and American lives! It will be published through DIGEX,INC and will cost \4,000 (tax incl).

-- According to the Sherow Artist Society page, Versailles will be releasing normal editions of their sold-out albums, Lyrical Sympathy and NOBLE. They will be released on October 22, 2008. Both will be different from the first pressings: Lyrical Sympathy will have a renewed jacket, whereas NOBLE will have PRINCE as a bonus track but will lack the PV DVD and the design of the booklet will be different from the first pressing.

Lyrical Sympathy will cost \2,625, and NOBLE will cost \3,150!

-- Versailles's new name for their United States activities will be Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet-. The name is said to be only temporary because they do say they plan to go back to "Versailles" in the future but their name will still be and continue to be just Versailles in Japan.

They have also released a new song originally a free distributed coupling cd with chariots. The song is entitled "PRINCE". Versailles have decided to release it free worldwide. I believe you can download it directly through their OHP, but also MaruMusic.com has it available for download as well.

-- Due to legal conflicts with the American band also named Versailles, Kamijo has announced that Japan's Versailles will be changing their name so they can continue future American activities. They're taking suggestions for the name change here from August 19th to the 31st. Within the email please include your name, your e-mail address and your suggestion for the new band name. They say that they will keep the initial name of Versailles but will add one word after it so "Versailles ____".

-- Versailles will be participating in the Visual Olympic 2008! It will be held on September 15th at the Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall! Please see this site for further information and other participating artists: http://www.siren-enterprise.com/pickup/080915_visualolympic/.

-- Versailles will be coming back to the United States this year for their Sentiment of Genesis Part II Tour! This time they will be hitting the east coast. They will first be performing a full concert at AnimeUSA in Virginia on Oct. 11th as well as other times throughout the convention (between the 10-12th) they will be having a Q&A session and signing autographs.

Not only are they going to this convention, but they will also be performing a show in New York City as well. A date has not been set for this yet though.

-- Versailles have added music sample for Noble to their site. Take a listen here! Also they have added pictures as well from the album to their sidebar. Go check them out, and as a reminder Noble's japan release has been moved back to July 16th. The world wide release will be out on July 30th. For a little added information on the album, not only will it come with CD and DVD but also a 32 page booklet.

-- As mentioned in Kamijo's blog, the album will first be distributed worldwide via the iTunes Music Shop, but not only that, the album will not only release in Europe, but in America as well around the end of July!!!

The album will include a new take of "The Revenant Choir" as well as the three songs from the live-only single. It will come with a DVD containing an "ultra-gorgeous" PV. If you pre-order, there may be a privilege included, but this depends on the CD shop and a privilege is not guaranteed. No other information on the privileges is avaliable at this time.

-- Versailles will be participating in the hide memorial summit on May 3rd along with bands such as hide with Spread Beaver, T.M.Revolution, DJ OZMA, RIZE, Maximum the Hormone, hurdy gurdy, Phantasmagoria, MarBell and DaizyStripper. It will cost 14800yen ($150) just for that day.

-- According to Kamijo's blog, Versailles will be releasing some songs for purchase from iTunes. They are avaliable from the 26th of March. -- As posted in Yuki's blog, the tickets for the 5/6 ONEMAN live have sold out!! Congratulations, Versailles!!

-- Versailles will be auctioning off their costumes along with Kaya and Juka. The auction will be held on March 15th at the Harajuku Death trap-ID store. Bidding will start at 20,000yen (roughly $185USD), and each person will only get one bid. Afterwards, there will be a handshake and memorial photographing session instore event with Versailles, and Kaya. To attend the instore, you must purchase more than 5000yen worth of 'Node of Scherzo' goods to get an admission ticket.

-- On the Versailles official myspace, it was announced that after A-kon, Versailles will be making one last stop in the US! They will be playing in LA on June 3rd at the Knitting Factory. -- More information on the fragrances: The dvd includes a live clip from The Red Carpet Day, but is dubbed over with the song Shout&Bites as well as a comment from the member whose frangrance you purchased.
